Phillipsburg police seek man accused of eluding during traffic encounter

PHILLIPSBURG, N.J. (Warren County) — Phillipsburg police are asking for the public’s help in locating a man accused of fleeing from an officer after being approached about a motorcycle without a license plate.

According to the Phillipsburg Police Department, Corrado M. Jennings, 23, is wanted on a charge of eluding. Police said that on Sept. 2, 2025, an officer observed Jennings operating a motorcycle without a license plate and later found him parked in a local business lot. The officer made contact with him and instructed him to remain at the scene while the investigation continued.

Authorities said that as the officer exited his vehicle, Jennings got back on the motorcycle — described as a black and red Yamaha R1 — and sped away from the area at a high rate of speed.

Police said Jennings’ current location is unknown, though he may still be in the Phillipsburg area. Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call 908-835-2002. Tipsters may remain anonymous.
