Phillipsburg police seek man wanted on warrant in criminal trespass, terroristic threats case

PHILLIPSBURG, N.J. (Warren County) — Phillipsburg police are asking for the public’s help locating a man wanted on a warrant in connection with charges of criminal trespass and terroristic threats.

Police said Justin A. Rodriguez, 29, is wanted after failing to appear for scheduled court hearings. He is described as 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighing about 130 pounds, with brown eyes and black hair.

The department said Rodriguez was previously arrested, taken to jail and later released from custody under court-ordered conditions.

According to the department, police were dispatched Sept. 7, 2025, to the 100 block of South Main Street for a reported disturbance. The investigation resulted in charges being brought against Rodriguez for criminal trespass and terroristic threats, police said.

Police said Rodriguez may be in the Phillipsburg area or in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. Anyone with information about his whereabouts is asked to contact the Phillipsburg Police Department at 908-835-2002. Police said tips may be provided anonymously.
