Phillipsburg police seek public’s help identifying suspects in Alpha Park vandalism

ALPHA BOROUGH, N.J. (Warren County) — Phillipsburg police are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying those responsible for damaging portable toilets at Alpha Park early Sunday morning.

According to the Phillipsburg Police Department, the incident occurred around 12:56 a.m. May 17 at the park in Alpha Borough.

Police said surveillance footage captured a side-by-side utility vehicle driving through the park area and striking or knocking over the portable toilets.

Authorities released images of the suspected vehicle and are urging anyone who may recognize it or have information about the incident to come forward.

Investigators also asked anyone who witnessed suspicious activity in the area or has additional video footage to contact the department.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Phillipsburg Police Department at 908-835-2002. Anonymous tips are being accepted.
