Phillipsburg police seek woman wanted on disorderly conduct charge

PHILLIPSBURG, N.J. (Warren County) — Police are asking for the public’s help locating a woman accused of disorderly conduct following a March incident involving a state agency worker, according to the Phillipsburg Police Department.

Aurora M. Arvelo, 39, is wanted in connection with a March 2, 2025, incident on the first block of Henderson Street. Police said they were called to assist a state agency with what was described as an aggressive female. Arvelo allegedly fled the scene before officers arrived.

Investigators said Arvelo allegedly physically threatened an employee of the state agency. She was later charged with disorderly conduct and is currently wanted on that charge.

Arvelo is described as 5 feet 5 inches tall with brown eyes and brown hair. Her current location is unknown, but police believe she may be in the Lehigh Valley area.
