Phillipsburg police seek woman wanted on multiple warrants

PHILLIPSBURG, N.J. (Warren County) — The Phillipsburg Police Department is asking for the public’s help locating a woman who is wanted after allegedly providing false information to officers and failing to appear in court, according to a bulletin released by the department.

Police said they made contact with Jimi G. Duckworth, also known as Jimi Fay and Jenny Fay, on Jan. 23 while investigating a call for service. According to the department, Duckworth initially provided officers with personal information that did not belong to her. The name she gave matched an active warrant, and she was taken into custody.

Police said Duckworth later provided her correct information, at which point officers discovered she had an outstanding burglary warrant. She was then charged with hindering apprehension by providing false information.

Duckworth was released from jail but failed to appear in Phillipsburg Municipal Court, police said. A bench warrant for her arrest was issued on April 25. According to the department, she is also wanted by the Passaic County Sheriff’s Office in New Jersey and the Northampton County Sheriff’s Office in Pennsylvania.

The Phillipsburg Police Department is urging anyone with information on her whereabouts to call 908-835-2002.
