Morris County Chamber honors NOMADICS at Spring Golf Classic

MORRISTOWN, N.J. (Morris County) – The Morris County Chamber of Commerce hosted its annual Spring Golf Classic last week at Spring Brook Country Club, where it honored intelligence, consulting and strategy firm NOMADICS, LLC with the 2025 Business and Community Service Award.

More than 130 golfers attended the event, which raises funds to support chamber programs that promote, inform and connect the business community while benefiting the wider public.

“The Morris County Chamber of Commerce is committed to enabling our members to connect, collaborate and succeed while supporting the community as a whole,” said Meghan Hunscher, chamber president. “Our annual golf outing helps us bring these offerings to our members and, through them, the community. We are especially grateful to our many sponsors who help make this event such a success each year.”

Each year, the chamber presents the Business and Community Service Award to an organization that demonstrates exceptional service to the community through support of local organizations, promotion of employee volunteerism, and contributions to the region’s economic and social well-being.

This year’s honoree, NOMADICS, was recognized for its commitment to future generations of GIS, defense and engineering professionals, and for maintaining ethical and responsible corporate practices. Dr. Nicholas M. D’Ambrosio, the company’s founder and CEO, accepted the award.

To add entertainment to the outing, the chamber introduced new elements this year, including a two-hour clinic with Spring Brook golf pros, a putt-for-wine contest, and on-course games.

Due to the popularity of the event, the chamber also hosts a second golf outing in the fall. This year’s Fall Golf Classic is scheduled for Sept. 29 at Knoll Country Club. For more information or to register, visit https://bit.ly/MorrisChamberFallGolf2025.
