Phillipsburg to hold live auction Sept. 27 featuring vehicles, tools and more

PHILLIPSBURG, N.J. (Warren County) — The Phillipsburg Department of Public Works will host a live auction on Saturday, Sept. 27, offering residents the chance to bid on vehicles, tools, equipment and other miscellaneous items.

The event will take place at the DPW Garage, 441 Heckman Street. A preview begins at 7 a.m., with the auction starting at 8 a.m.

Among the items up for auction are a 1992 Dodge Ram 250, 2013 Ford Taurus, 2015 Ford F250, 1998 Jeep Cherokee, a New Holland backhoe, and a 1992 American Road Leaf Trailer. Other items include assorted welding rods, floodlights, drum pumps, grass spreaders, vehicle parts, office furniture, and power tools.

Payment will be accepted via cash, personal check, or money order. For vehicle sales, a 10 percent deposit of the purchase price is required at the time of auction. Balances must be paid at Town Hall by Monday, Sept. 29, and titles and keys will be given at that time. All sales are final and items are sold “as is/where is.”
