Police investigate reported shooting in Phillipsburg; no injuries reported

PHILLIPSBURG, N.J. (Warren County) — Police are investigating a reported shooting Tuesday afternoon on Henderson Street in Phillipsburg, according to Police Chief Anthony Goodell.

In a video posted to the department’s official Facebook page, Goodell said officers responded to the 100 block of Henderson Street around 4:17 p.m. after receiving a report of a shooting Upon arrival, officers found evidence of a shooting, though no injuries were reported.

The incident remains under investigation by the Phillipsburg Police Department, the Warren County Prosecutor’s Office, the New Jersey State Police and several other agencies, Goodell said.
