Police make multiple arrests in Phillipsburg during fugitive sweep

PHILLIPSBURG, N.J. (Warren County) — Increased police presence across Phillipsburg on Thursday was part of a coordinated fugitive detail led by the Phillipsburg Police Department in partnership with state and county law enforcement agencies, officials said.

The operation focused on executing active criminal warrants throughout the town, resulting in multiple arrests. Authorities emphasized that the enforcement action was not related to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement or immigration (ICE) proceedings.

The individuals taken into custody were either transferred to the appropriate law enforcement agency or lodged at the Warren County Correctional Facility, police said.
