Police searching for man accused of lewd act in Hunterdon County

CLINTON TOWNSHIP, NJ (Hunterdon County) – Police are searching for a man who is accused of masturbating in public in Clinton Township.

On Oct. 1, at around 1:20 p.m., police responded to Marukian Farm Preserve, behind Runkle Drive, for a report of a male masturbating in public, police said.

The victim described the suspect as a white male in his early 30s, with short, reddish-brown hair and stubbly facial hair. The man was standing on a bench with his pants and underwear around his ankles, and appeared to be masturbating, police said.

Officers attempted a K-9 track, but were unable to locate the man, police said.

Authorities are encouraging anyone with information to contact the police department’s non-emergency dispatch at 908-735-7233. Police urge the community to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activities.
