Teen charged after reported armed robbery in Washington Borough, police say

WASHINGTON BOROUGH, N.J. (Warren County) — A 16-year-old male was arrested and charged with robbery and theft after an alleged armed robbery on Taylor Street last month, Washington Township Police Department said Saturday.

Police said officers were dispatched around 3:43 p.m. on Oct. 3 for a report of an armed robbery that had just occurred. After responding to the scene and conducting an investigation, officers located the suspect and took him into custody.

The juvenile was charged with robbery and theft, then released to a guardian with a mandatory court date, police said.
