Police searching for two missing ‘at-risk’ people last seen at Pyramid Mountain in Montville
MONTVILLE TOWNSHIP, N.J. (Morris County) — Authorities are seeking the public’s help locating two missing “at-risk” people who were last seen at Pyramid Mountain in Montville Township, according to police.
The Montville Township Police Department, Morris County Sheriff’s Office and Morris County Prosecutor’s Office are searching for John Higgins, 77, and Virginia Taetzch, 87.
Higgins is described as a white man who is 6 feet, 5 inches tall with white or gray hair.
Taetzch is described as a white woman who is 5 feet, 3 inches tall with brown eyes and light brown hair.
Police said the two were last seen at Pyramid Mountain on Boonton Avenue in Montville. The last known contact with either person was at approximately 1 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 30.
Anyone who sees Higgins or Taetzch or has information about their whereabouts is asked to call 911 or the Montville Township Police Department at 973-257-4300.
