Police seek owner of abandoned Virgin Mary statue in Morris County
MORRISTOWN, NJ (Morris County) – The Morristown Bureau of Police is asking for the public’s help in identifying the owner of a cement statue of the Virgin Mary.
The statue, which is approximately 3 feet tall and weighs about 100 pounds, was found abandoned in the parking lot of a local business, police said.
Anyone with information regarding its origin or ownership is asked to contact the Morristown Police at 973-538-2200 and reference incident report Incident Report# 2024-30220.
