Police seek public’s help identifying suspects in illegal dumping in Phillipsburg
PHILLIPSBURG, N.J. (Warren County) — Police are asking for the public’s help identifying individuals involved in an illegal dumping incident.
The incident occurred April 4 at about 12:23 p.m. in the 1000 block of Green Street, where a white Dodge Ram 1500 allegedly dumped garbage and debris without the property owner’s consent, according to the Phillipsburg Police Department.
Authorities said the vehicle had tinted windows and an unknown New Jersey license plate. It was last seen traveling west on Congress Street toward Columbus Avenue.
Among the items discarded were concrete, white chairs and what appears to be a pool liner, along with other debris.
Police released images of the vehicle and its occupants and are urging anyone who recognizes them to come forward. Investigators are also asking residents who may have recently had a household cleanout and recognize the items to contact the department.
Anyone with information is asked to contact the Phillipsburg Police Department at 908-835-2002.
