Power outage Sunday affects parts of Warren, Morris and Hunterdon counties

NORTHWEST, N.J. – A power outage Sunday afternoon affected parts of Warren, Morris and Hunterdon counties, including Washington Township and Mansfield Township.

The outage impacted about 2,200 customers, according to Jersey Central Power & Light spokesman Chris Hoenig.

Hoenig said the disruption was caused by a transmission outage.

Service was fully restored within about 90 minutes, and no further information was immediately available.
