Randolph PBA 403 welcomes Patrolman Tomkins back after deployment in Syria

RANDOLPH TOWNSHIP, NJ (Morris County) – The Randolph Police Benevolent Association (PBA) 403 has welcomed Patrolman Tomkins back to the Patrol Division after his combat deployment as a Captain with the New Jersey National Guard.

PTL. Tomkins served in Syria from March to December of 2024.

PTL. Tomkins presented PBA 403 with a framed American flag that was flown at his base in Syria during his deployment. The flag, which symbolizes “the unshakeable resolve to keep our country safe,” was accompanied by a photograph and a statement from PTL. Tomkins, commemorating the significance of this meaningful gift.

PTL. Tomkins’ service with the National Guard has equipped him with advanced tactical training, which he continues to refine as a member of the Sheriff’s Emergency Response Team (S.E.R.T.). In this critical role, PTL. Tomkins responds to high-stakes incidents in the county, handling threats, hazards, and critical incidents with expertise and professionalism.

The Randolph Police Department and PBA 403 express their deep gratitude for the sacrifices made by PTL. Tomkins and his family during his deployment and training.
