Route 46 reopens in Mount Olive after early-morning crash

UPDATE: Woman seriously injured in Route 46 crash in Mount Olive

MOUNT OLIVE TOWNSHIP, N.J. (Morris County) — A crash that shut down both directions of Route 46 in Mount Olive early Thursday has been cleared, and the roadway is now open, according to the New Jersey Department of Transportation.

The incident was reported east of Naughright Road around 5:58 a.m., involving a car and a tractor-trailer. All lanes were initially closed as authorities responded.

No immediate details were available on injuries.
