Ciocca Subaru donates $15K to Hunterdon Health to support patient transportation

FLEMINGTON, N.J. (Hunterdon County) – The Hunterdon Health Foundation has announced a $15,090 donation from Ciocca Subaru of Flemington, made through the Subaru Share the Love Event, to benefit the Patient Transportation Fund.

The fund provides transportation to patients who otherwise would have no way to reach essential medical appointments. In rural areas like Hunterdon County, where public transportation options are limited, the program helps eliminate a major barrier to care.

“Each ride funded represents more than just transportation—it’s a lifeline for patients who need consistent access to treatment,” the Foundation said in a statement. “Whether it’s a senior managing chronic illness or a patient undergoing regular cancer care, the ability to simply get to an appointment can make all the difference.”

The donation will help ensure that patients who lack reliable transportation can still receive timely medical care. The foundation credited Ciocca Subaru and its customers for their role in supporting the community’s healthcare needs.

Through the Share the Love campaign, Subaru of America and its local dealerships support charitable organizations nationwide.
