Single-lane traffic scheduled June 24 on Route 22 near Easton-Phillipsburg Toll Bridge

Motorists traveling near the Easton-Phillipsburg Toll Bridge should expect lane restrictions Wednesday morning as maintenance crews repair a damaged highway sign.

Both directions of Route 22 on the Pennsylvania approach to the Easton-Phillipsburg Toll Bridge are scheduled to be reduced to a single travel lane from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. June 24.

According to bridge officials, the lane restriction is necessary to allow maintenance crews to repair a damaged sign located in the highway median before the bridge.

Motorists are urged to reduce speeds and use caution while traveling through the work area.

Officials said travel delays are not anticipated.
