Single-lane traffic scheduled May 14 at New Hope-Lambertville Bridge for lighting repairs

LAMBERTVILLE, N.J. (Hunterdon County) — Motorists traveling across the New Hope-Lambertville Toll-Supported Bridge should expect delays Thursday, May 14, due to scheduled lane restrictions for lighting repairs.

According to officials, the bridge will be reduced to alternating single-lane traffic controlled by flaggers from 11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

The temporary traffic pattern will allow a commission vendor to complete lighting repair work on the bridge.

Drivers are advised to reduce speeds, use caution and follow directions from flaggers while work is underway.

Officials noted the scheduled traffic restriction could change because of weather, emergencies or other factors.
