Single lanes in each direction at Easton-Phillipsburg ‘free bridge’ on Tuesday night

The Easton-Phillipsburg “free bridge” is scheduled to have single-lanes in each direction for lighting system repair work 7:00 p.m. to midnight on Tuesday, July 23, according to the Delaware River Joint Toll Bridge Commission.

Travel impacts are not expected. Motorists are urged to reduce speed and exercise caution whenever traveling through active work zones, the commissions said.

The scheduled work and associated travel restriction is weather-sensitive. In the event of rain, the work could be postponed to the same time period on the nights of Wednesday, July 24, or Thursday, July 25, the commission said.
