SNICKERS Ice Cream teams with NFL prospect Carnell Tate to ‘keep their chill’ ahead of draft

SNICKERS Ice Cream is teaming up with NFL draft prospect Carnell Tate on a new campaign aimed at helping fans stay calm during the often-heated lead-up to the NFL Draft.

The promotion comes as months of speculation, mock drafts and debate continue ahead of the 2026 NFL Draft, creating what the company describes as an environment filled with “hot takes” and predictions.

As part of the campaign, SNICKERS Ice Cream is releasing a limited batch of special edition “Chill” ice cream bars, including a new Crunchy Peanut Butter flavor, alongside its original variety.

“The passion surrounding the NFL Draft is what makes it so exciting, but the non-stop speculation can turn up the heat quickly,” said Chanel Gant, Mars Ice Cream Marketing Director. “We wanted to enhance the fan experience by giving them a fun and delicious way to chill the hot takes – so they can relax, cool down with a SNICKERS Ice Cream and enjoy the NFL Draft without getting caught up in the heat.”

Fans can visit the company’s website to claim a free six-pack of the promotional ice cream bars while supplies last, with additional opportunities available later in the month.

Tate, a wide receiver prospect, said the partnership reflects his approach to handling the pressure surrounding the draft process.

“With all the mock drafts and round-the-clock commentary, the pressure is real, but you can’t let the noise get to you,” said Carnell Tate. “I’m focused on staying cool and confident by partnering with SNICKERS Ice Cream. Together, we’re helping everyone keep their chill and take a break from the hot takes – this Chill Chain is an especially cool reminder to keep your composure when things get heated.”

The campaign will also feature a custom-designed “Chill Chain” necklace, which Tate is set to debut on the first night of the NFL Draft on April 23. The piece will later be awarded to a fan through a nationwide sweepstakes.
