Somerset County prosecutors name October Fugitive of the Month

SOMERVILLE, N.J. (Somerset County) — The Somerset County Prosecutor’s Office has identified a Bound Brook man wanted on multiple charges as its Fugitive of the Month for October.

Eric J. Troyer, 36, is wanted for failure to appear on charges stemming from incidents that occurred in July in Bound Brook, prosecutors said. The charges include third-degree aggravated assault on a law enforcement officer, fourth-degree violation of a final restraining order, and simple assault, a disorderly persons offense.

Troyer is described as 5 feet, 10 inches tall, weighing 140 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. His last known address is in Bound Brook.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts is urged to contact the Somerset County Prosecutor’s Office Fugitive Unit at (908) 231-7100 or submit an anonymous tip through the STOPit app, available for free on the Google Play Store or Apple App Store with access code SOMERSETNJ.
