Somerset County Prosecutor’s Office names July Fugitive of the Month

SOMERVILLE, N.J. (Somerset County) — The Somerset County Prosecutor’s Office has named a Somerset man as its Fugitive of the Month for July and is seeking the public’s help locating him.

According to the prosecutor’s office, Tywan W. Rawls, 28, is wanted on a warrant for failure to appear in connection with a charge of third-degree fencing/dealing in stolen property.

Authorities said the charge stems from an incident that occurred in January 2026 in Warren Township, Somerset County. The alleged offense involves property valued between $500 and $74,999, according to authorities.

Rawls is described as 5 feet 7 inches tall, weighing approximately 130 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. His last known address was in Somerset, Somerset County.
