St. Luke’s ranked No. 1 health care employer in Pennsylvania by Forbes for third year
St. Luke’s University Health Network has once again been recognized as the top health care employer in Pennsylvania by Forbes Magazine, marking the third consecutive year the network has earned the distinction.
St. Luke’s, which employs more than 23,000 people and is the largest employer in the Lehigh Valley, also ranked No. 4 overall in Pennsylvania, placing it among the state’s top 10 employers alongside companies such as Johnson & Johnson, Google, Merck & Co., and Wegmans Food Markets.
In its annual rankings, Forbes surveyed 160,000 employees nationwide, asking: “Which organizations are truly keeping their employees happy?”
“Being recognized as the top-ranked health care employer in Pennsylvania is truly an honor,” said Evan Ochs, Senior Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer. “We put our people first. We listen, we respond, and we celebrate the incredible work they do every day.”
The Forbes survey, conducted in partnership with Statista, measured employee satisfaction and company reputation across industries.
In addition to the Forbes ranking, St. Luke’s has received multiple workplace honors this year, including recognition as one of Forbes’ Best Large Employers nationwide, one of America’s Dream Employers, and one of the Best Employers for New Grads. The network was also named among the Top Workplaces in both Pennsylvania and New Jersey in a survey conducted by USA Today, The Morning Call and other outlets.
