Summer sale luau set for Aug. 9 in Hackettstown with business specials, contests, and festive fun

HACKETTSTOWN, N.J. (Warren County) — Hackettstown’s downtown is gearing up for a festive celebration as the Hackettstown Business Improvement District (BID) hosts its “Summer Sale Luau” on Saturday, August 9, from 12 p.m. until closing. The event promises themed sales, giveaways, and tropical-inspired fun across participating local businesses.

Residents and visitors are encouraged to wear their favorite luau attire for the “Hula Crawl,” visiting BID businesses throughout the day. Attendees can also join a selfie contest by snapping a photo inside a BID business, tagging @hackettstownbid on Facebook, and using #hackettstownbid for a chance to win $50 in BID Bucks.

Business Specials Include:

  • Grand Avenue Tavern (109 Grand Ave) – Hosting an End of Summer Luau Party with music, games, food, drink specials, and fun.
  • Greene’s Beans Cafe (313 High St) – Featuring a tea mocktail-themed luau menu.
  • Czig Meister Brewing (106 Valentine St) – First 50 adults receive a free lei.
  • Man Skirt Brewing (144 Main St) – Introducing new tropical seltzers in pineapple, strawberry, and piña colada flavors.
  • Kilhaney’s Pickles (173 Main St) – Offering free pickles on a stick.
  • Fromage LLC (159 Main St) – Spend $20 and receive a free pack of dried pineapple.
  • Sweet Bite Delights (199 Main St) – Enjoy 10% off your purchase.
