Sussex County Community College announces tuition freeze

NEWTON, NJ (Sussex County) – For the 2024-2025 academic year, Sussex County Community College (SCCC) has implemented a tuition freeze, ensuring that education remains affordable and accessible for students.

Dr. Jon Connolly, President of Sussex, reaffirmed the College’s commitment to affordability, stating, “Our commitment to current and future SCCC students continues. We are again forgoing any tuition or fee increases this year.” He emphasized that maintaining high-quality education at an affordable cost is central to the institution’s mission.

Sussex County Community College offers a diverse range of degree and professional certificate programs designed for seamless transfer to many 4-year colleges and universities. The college also features robust career and technical education programs that enable students to begin their careers in just two years. The College continues to offer programs and professional certificates that ensure students have an opportunity to enter the workforce quickly.

In addition to various scholarships, SCCC remains dedicated to affordability with special rates for veterans, seniors, residents of specified Warren County districts, and neighboring out-of-state counties.

Prospective students will find an engaging campus atmosphere at SCCC, supported by academic honors programs facilitating transfers to top-tier institutions. A wide array of campus clubs and activities cater to diverse interests, while student-athletes can participate on any of their 13 teams.

Fall registration is open and continues until the start of the semester on Sept. 3. Late Registration will run until Sept. 9 after classes have begun.
