Sussex County lakefront home named Airbnb’s most wishlisted stay in New Jersey

SUSSEX COUNTY, N.J. — A lakefront home in Sussex County has been named the most wishlisted Airbnb in New Jersey, highlighting the growing appeal of unique stays that inspire travel.

Airbnb recently unveiled its most wishlisted listings across the United States, noting that more than half of travelers say a distinctive property can motivate them to visit a destination they had not previously considered.

Representing New Jersey is “The Good Place,” a newly renovated lakefront home in Branchville overlooking Culver Lake.

The property accommodates up to 10 guests and includes four bedrooms, seven beds and 3.5 bathrooms. Its design centers on maximizing views of the water from nearly every angle.

“Welcome to The Good Place – our newly renovated lakefront home with spectacular panoramic water views from the moment you walk in!” the listing states.

The home features an open floor plan with floor-to-ceiling La Cantina doors that can be fully opened to a large screened-in porch, offering expansive views of the lake in any weather.

“Come enjoy beautiful Culver Lake, NJ’s cleanest, private, spring fed family lake,” the listing adds.

Airbnb said its most wishlisted homes reflect a broader trend among travelers seeking memorable and unique accommodations that go beyond traditional lodging.

The recognition places Sussex County on the map as a destination for scenic getaways, with the Branchville property showcasing the region’s natural beauty and waterfront appeal.
