Sussex County library to host fourth annual autism resource fair

FRANKFORD TOWNSHIP, N.J. (Sussex County) — The Sussex County Library System will host its fourth annual Autism Resource Fair later this month, bringing together local organizations and families for an afternoon focused on support and services.

The free event is scheduled for Saturday, April 25, from noon to 3 p.m. at the Main Library in Frankford Township.

Organizers said the fair is designed to connect parents, educators and professionals with resources available for individuals with autism spectrum disorder and their families in Sussex County.

Participating organizations include BluePath Service Dogs, Always CapABLE, Step Up Family Services, the Sussex County Sheriff’s Office, the Sussex County Division of Health and Special Health Services, Family Partners, Project Self-Sufficiency, Lakeshore Learning and LACE (Learning At College Experience).

Library staff from SCLS Youth Services will also be on hand to provide information about programs and services offered through the library system. Door prizes will be available for attendees.
