Sussex County player wins $1.5M Jersey Cash 5 jackpot, becomes sixth millionaire of 2025

FRANKLIN BOROUGH, NJ (Sussex County) — A Sussex County resident has become the sixth Jersey Cash 5 millionaire of 2025 after winning a $1,517,266 jackpot, New Jersey Lottery officials announced Monday.

The winning ticket was purchased at Quick Chek #77, located at 180 Route 23 in Franklin. The retailer will receive a $2,000 bonus for selling the jackpot ticket.

The winning numbers for the Saturday, June 7, 2025, drawing were 04, 06, 18, 30 and 39. The XTRA number was 03, and the Bullseye number was 39. In addition to the jackpot winner, 16 players matched four out of five numbers, the Bullseye, and the XTRA to win $1,000 each. Another 51 players matched four numbers and the Bullseye to win $500, and six players matched four numbers and the XTRA for the same prize.

The winner, who chose to remain anonymous, told lottery officials they couldn’t remember which store they bought the ticket from and drove approximately 100 miles early Monday morning to claim the prize.

“I couldn’t sleep at all last night. I didn’t want that ticket lying around. I was afraid I’d lose it,” the player said.

The win marks the 30th Jersey Cash 5 jackpot awarded so far this year.
