Sussex County woman sentenced to probation for causing harm to a child

NEWTON, NJ (Sussex County) – A Sussex County woman was sentenced to probation for causing harm to a child, according to Acting Sussex County Prosecutor Carolyn Murray

Patrice Wilson, 29, of Stillwater Township was sentence don Nov. 30 before the Honorable Michael C. Gaus, J.S.C. at the Sussex County Courthouse in Newton, Murray said.

Wilson was sentenced to probation for a period of five years. In addition to the standard conditions of probation, she must also complete an anger management program, and pay fines and fees, and have no contact with the victims, Murray said.

Wilson pled guilty on Sept. 27 to third-degree endangering the welfare of a child. In pleading guilty, she admitted to purposefully or knowingly causing harm to a child, Murray said.

Wilson was represented by Thomas Militano, Esq., and the State was represented by Special Deputy Attorney General and Acting Assistant Prosecutor Vanessa Henderson.
