Testa introduces bill to restore ‘New Jersey and You – Perfect Together Again’ as state tourism slogan

TRENTON, N.J. — State Sen. Michael Testa has introduced legislation that would officially designate “New Jersey and You – Perfect Together Again” as the slogan for the New Jersey Division of Travel and Tourism.

“New Jersey truly has everything. From world-class restaurants and vibrant downtowns, to some of the most beautiful outdoor recreation on the East Coast,” Testa said. “And above all, we have the hardworking, passionate people who make our state so special. By restoring ‘New Jersey and You – Perfect Together Again’ as our official tourism slogan, we’re embracing a message that reflects who we are: a state with endless possibilities, unforgettable experiences, and a spirit you can’t find anywhere else.”

Under the bill, the slogan would become the official and permanent tagline for the state’s tourism marketing efforts.

The Division of Travel and Tourism has used a variety of slogans over the years, including “New Jersey and You: Perfect Together,” “New Jersey: Come See For Yourself” and “Little State, Lotta Wow.” Testa’s proposal would reinstate the familiar phrase with its updated wording as the division’s permanent slogan.
