Two motorcyclists injured in Warren County crash; one airlifted

HARMONY TOWNSHIP, N.J. (Warren County) — Two motorcyclists were injured Sunday afternoon in a crash at the intersection of Montana Road and Richline Road in Harmony Township, according to the New Jersey State Police.

Troopers responded to the crash at approximately 4:07 p.m. on July 5.

A preliminary investigation found that a KTM motorcycle was traveling behind a Ducati motorcycle when the Ducati’s operator lost directional control and was ejected from the motorcycle.

State police said the KTM rider laid the motorcycle down in an attempt to avoid striking the Ducati.

Both riders sustained non-life-threatening injuries. The Ducati rider was flown to an area hospital for treatment.

The crash remains under investigation, and no additional information was available.
