UPDATE: All lanes reopen on I-80 westbound after Tractor-Trailer crash in Allamuchy

ALLAMUCHY TOWNSHIP, N.J. (Warren County) — All lanes of Interstate 80 westbound in Allamuchy Township have reopened following an early-morning crash involving an overturned tractor-trailer hauling large sheet metal coils, authorities said.

The crash occurred shortly before 4:00 a.m. near mile marker 18, prompting a full closure of the westbound lanes and later a partial lane closure as emergency crews worked at the scene. The Allamuchy Fire Department reported that the right and center lanes sustained significant roadway damage, requiring extended cleanup and repair operations.

Officials confirmed that all lanes are now open and traffic is moving normally.

It was not immediately known whether any injuries were reported or what caused the crash. Motorists were previously advised to use alternate routes and exercise caution while emergency personnel operated on the highway.
