UPDATE: No injuries reported after jackknifed tractor-trailer crash on I-80 eastbound in Roxbury

ROXBURY TOWNSHIP, N.J. (Morris County) — All lanes have reopened on Interstate 80 eastbound in Morris County following an early morning crash involving two tractor-trailers, state police said.

Troopers responded to the crash at 1:27 a.m. near milepost 29 in Roxbury Township, according to New Jersey State Police spokesman Trooper II Christopher Postorino.

A preliminary investigation found that a sideswipe collision occurred between two tractor-trailers, causing one of the tractor-trailers to jackknife.

No injuries were reported at the scene, police said.

The crash led to lane closures during the early morning hours. Two of the three eastbound lanes were initially closed, and one lane and the right shoulder remained closed during cleanup operations.

All lanes have since reopened.

The crash remains under investigation, and no additional information was immediately available.
