Vehicle stopped in roadway leads to multi-vehicle crash with injuries on I-80 in Warren County

HOPE TOWNSHIP, N.J. (Warren County) — A vehicle stopped in the roadway contributed to a multi-vehicle crash that resulted in non-life-threatening injuries Thursday night on Interstate 80 in Warren County, according to New Jersey State Police.

Troopers responded at approximately 9:39 p.m. to the eastbound lanes of Interstate 80 near milepost 10.9 in Hope Township, State Police spokesperson Sgt. 1st Class Charles Marchan said.

A preliminary investigation found that a vehicle was stopped in the roadway, contributing to a crash involving multiple vehicles, Marchan said.

Authorities reported injuries in the crash, but said they were not considered life-threatening. Additional details, including the number of vehicles involved and the number of people injured, were not immediately available.

The crash remains under investigation. No further information has been released.
