Vehicle width restrictions in effect at New Hope-Lambertville Toll Bridge

DELAWARE TOWNSHIP, N.J. (Hunterdon County) — New vehicle width restrictions are in effect until further notice on the New Hope-Lambertville Route 202 Toll Bridge as construction work continues at the crossing.

The restrictions apply in both directions on Route 202 between Solebury Township, Pennsylvania, and Delaware Township, New Jersey.

Pennsylvania-bound, or southbound, vehicles are limited to a maximum width of 10 feet. New Jersey-bound, or northbound, vehicles are limited to a maximum width of 11 feet.

The wide-load restrictions were put in place because of a construction project underway at the bridge.

Traffic is currently restricted to a single lane in each direction at the bridge, with a 25 mph speed limit through the work area.
