Veterans Day specials include free skiing, dining donations, and family fun discounts across New Jersey
NEW JERSEY – Several New Jersey attractions and businesses are honoring veterans and active-duty military personnel this Veterans Day with free activities, discounts, and special offers.
Free Skiing at Big SNOW American Dream
Big SNOW American Dream — North America’s first indoor, real-snow ski and snowboard center — will offer three free hours of skiing or snowboarding to veterans and active-duty service members on Tuesday, Nov. 11, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Participants must present valid military identification to redeem the offer.
The experience includes equipment rentals, outerwear, helmets, and complimentary lessons at the resort’s Terrain Based Learning Area™.
“Skiing and snowboarding are more than just winter sports, they are a community built on camaraderie, resilience and shared passion,” said Amiana Tyransky, Resort Marketing Manager at Big SNOW American Dream. “We wanted to offer veterans a unique, yet heartfelt way to say thank you for their service. Wayback Burgers Donates to Tunnel to Towers Foundation
Wayback Burgers will donate 10 percent of all app and online sales on Nov. 11 to the Tunnel to Towers Foundation, which supports military members, first responders, and their families.
“As a thank you to military heroes this Veterans Day, we’re proud to contribute to an organization that honors the courage and sacrifice of our nation’s heroes,” the company said in a statement.

Free Admission at SEA LIFE and LEGOLAND Discovery Center
At American Dream, SEA LIFE Aquarium and LEGOLAND® Discovery Center New Jersey are offering free admission all month to active-duty military members and veterans, along with 30 percent off admission for up to six family members or friends.
Military personnel can enjoy creative workshops, explore miniature cityscapes in MINILAND, and marvel at thousands of sea creatures, including sharks and stingrays.
