BELVIDERE, N.J. (Warren County) — The Warren County Fire Academy held commencement ceremonies Thursday for its 92nd Firefighter One class and 28th Firefighter Two class, marking the first time in the academy’s 74-year history that recruits completed both certification programs in succession.
The event took place July 24 at The Manor at Good Will Fire Company in Belvidere, where graduates were honored for their dedication and achievement in completing the rigorous training required for both levels of firefighting certification.
Warren County Commissioner Lori Ciesla addressed the graduates and thanked them for their commitment to public service.
“Thank you for stepping up to serve your community as firefighters. Day or night, while others run from danger, you will be running toward it,” Ciesla said. “Our county is deeply grateful for your courage, commitment, and sacrifice. Congratulations on your graduation and thank you.”
