Warren County man sought after fleeing police in Pennsylvania

PALMER TOWNSHIP, Pa. (Northampton County) — Police in Palmer Township are searching for a man who fled a traffic stop Monday night after nearly striking an officer with his vehicle.

Authorities said officers stopped a black Nissan Altima with Pennsylvania registration F55-VSU at about 8:19 p.m. Aug. 18 on Freemansburg Avenue near Old Orchard Drive. The driver was identified as Jason Williams Rodriguez of Phillipsburg, who police said has multiple outstanding warrants. A white female passenger was also in the vehicle.

When officers asked Rodriguez to exit the car, he became uncooperative, then sped off, nearly hitting one of the officers, police said.

A felony arrest warrant is being obtained. Police ask anyone with information about Rodriguez’s whereabouts to contact the Palmer Township Police Department.
