Washburn Road in Mansfield to close on or about Sept. 2 for bridge work, reopen around Oct. 1

MANSFIELD TOWNSHIP, N.J. (Warren County) – Washburn Road in Mansfield Township is scheduled to close on or about Sept. 2 for bridge construction, Warren County officials said.

The Warren County Bridge and Road Division said the project is expected to take about a month, with the road reopening on or about Oct. 1.

During the closure, traffic will be detoured along Thomas Road and Watters Road, which are part of County Route 652, between Route 57 and Rockport Road.

Variable message boards have been installed to alert residents in advance of the closure and detour, officials said.
