Box truck overturns while exiting I-80 in Morris County; driver injured

ROCKAWAY TOWNSHIP, N.J. (Morris County) — A box truck overturned while exiting Interstate 80 East at Exit 37 in Rockaway Township on Monday afternoon, injuring the driver, according to the New Jersey State Police.

Troopers responded to the scene at approximately 12:49 p.m. on June 2, said State Police spokesperson Sgt. Jeffrey Lebron.

A preliminary investigation determined that the box truck was exiting the highway when the driver lost directional control, causing the vehicle to overturn. The driver sustained minor injuries and was transported to a local hospital.

The crash remains under investigation. No further information was immediately available.
