Water Street band to host Valentine’s ‘Show the Love’ concert in Hope Township on Feb. 15

HOPE TOWNSHIP, NJ (Warren County) – Local band Water Street has long been a staple in the community, known for playing at local events, volunteering, and honoring the roots of their origins.

On Saturday, February 15, from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., at the historic Community Center, 4 Walnut Street in Hope Township, Water Street will host a special Valentine’s ‘Show the Love’ concert, bringing the community together for an evening filled with fresh music, sweet treats, and fun

“We thought this would be a great way to share new music while connecting with the community,” said Dave Paulson, the band’s frontman. Paulson, who founded the band in 2014, also shared that Water Street has recently signed with the Philadelphia-based indie label Free Dive Collective. The band is set to release an 8-track album in Spring 2025 and will debut some never-before-heard tracks at the Valentine’s show.

“The new songs sound like nothing we’ve ever put out before,” Paulson said. “We couldn’t be more excited to play them for the first time locally!”

Keith Pro of Indie Band Guru praised Water Street, writing, “Water Street seems to have found their stride… A brighter, more pop-focused sound has emerged and caught the attention of a growing fanbase. This is not just a band of kids trying to get attention anymore. Water Street pours out emotion and welcomes listeners to come for the ride. This is power-pop songwriting at its best!”

In addition to the live music, the February 15th show will feature a variety of sweet treats and fun activities, including a photo booth, freshly twirled cotton candy, baked goods, and spiced chai. The event is made possible by the Hope Creative Team, and a portion of the proceeds will benefit Hope’s future events and projects. The suggested donation for the event is $10.
