Wild West City saddles up for 2026 season, opening May 2

BYRAM TOWNSHIP, N.J. (Sussex County) — A popular Western-themed attraction in Sussex County is set to reopen for the 2026 season, inviting visitors to step back in time for a day of frontier-style entertainment.

Wild West City will open its gates May 2, kicking off a new season of shows, attractions and family-friendly activities.

“Saddle up for a rootin’ tootin’ 2026 season!” the attraction said in announcing the opening.

Located on Lackawanna Drive in Byram Township, the venue offers visitors an immersive experience inspired by the American Old West.

Guests can expect historical exhibits, live-action performances and themed dining options, along with information to help plan their visit to both the attraction and the surrounding Skylands region.

The park is designed to appeal to a wide range of visitors, from first-time guests to returning families looking for a seasonal outing.

Wild West City is located at 50 Lackawanna Drive and can be accessed from Interstate 80 via Exit 25, followed by Route 206 North to Lackawanna Drive.
