Woman accused of pulling multiple fire alarms, resisting arrest at Morris County hotel
HANOVER TOWNSHIP, NJ (Morris County) – A Morris County woman was arrested last month for allegedly pulling multiple fire alarms inside a Hanover Township hotel.
On February 24, officers were already at the Red Carpet Inn for a separate incident when they were alerted to a fire alarm going off. It was determined that 51-year-old Yolanda Jones, a resident of the hotel, had pulled multiple fire alarms throughout the building, according to police.
When officers attempted to arrest Jones, she resisted, police said.
Jones has been charged with false public alarms, resisting arrest, and disorderly conduct. She was subsequently lodged in the Morris County Jail.
