Woman charged after alleged drug possession at Morris County hospital

DENVILLE TOWNSHIP, N.J. (Morris County) — A Roxbury woman was charged after police said she was found in possession of controlled dangerous substances and drug paraphernalia at a local hospital.

Denville police responded at approximately 1:51 p.m. Feb. 9 to Saint Clare’s Denville Campus for a report of a patient in possession of controlled dangerous substances and paraphernalia.

Upon arrival, officers determined that the patient, identified as Mallory Grunn, 36, of Roxbury, was allegedly in possession of a controlled dangerous substance and related drug paraphernalia, police said.

Grunn was charged with two counts of possession of a controlled dangerous substance and one count of possession of drug paraphernalia. She was issued complaint summonses and released pending a court appearance in Morris County Superior Court.
