Yella’s brings screaming good eats to Somerset County

WARREN TOWNSHIP, NJ (Somerset County) – Love burgers piled high and milkshakes with a side of pizzazz?

Yella’s opened its doors on Thursday, January 30, at 10 Independence Boulevard in Warren Township. This family-owned hotspot serves indulgence with a side of Jersey attitude, offering a variety of hot and cold sandwiches, hand-spun shakes, and menu items inspired by relatives as memorable as the food itself.

“My grandfather Yella earned his nickname as a caller at New Jersey dances in the 1930’s and 40’s.  He didn’t just call the moves on the dance floor – he called the shots when it came to good eats,” says founder Joe Lorenzo. “If you left his table hungry, it was your own fault. At Yella’s, we keep that tradition alive with food so good, you’ll be screaming for more!”

At Yella’s, everything is made fresh to order and with love. Picture deli sandwiches piled high with hand-sliced meats and cheeses, over-the-top hand spun milkshakes served with an entire chocolate bar or cannoli, and burgers prepared exactly how you like them. Add in crispy chicken sandwiches, sweet potato waffle fries, jumbo wings and tenders.  Now you’ve got a menu that’s as bold as it is delicious.

The Warren Township location marks the 13th Yella’s with the original Hawthorne spot, joining 11 dining halls in an ever-growing family.

“We’re bringing a fresh taste to the Warren community ,” says Danielle Lorenzo Filardi, Yella’s Director of Marketing. “Our vibrant décor, good music, and family-inspired photos set the stage for unforgettable meals.  Sandwiches named after our beloved family members like the Benny Brown and Grandpa Joe are chalked full of memories that will continue to last a lifetime.

What we are most proud is providing our customers with the highest quality ingredients and great service.  Put those two together in a great atmosphere and you’ll definitely be a regular in no time.”

We can’t wait to meet our first customers and see them light up when they taste our food,” says Danielle. “Stop by, try our food, and tell your friends! You can even scream about your experience if you want to.”
