Person flown to hospital after single-vehicle crash in Sussex County

SPARTA TOWNSHIP, NJ (Sussex County) – A person was flown to the hospital following a single-vehicle crash Sunday morning in Sparta Township, according to Sparta Township Police Detective Lieutenant Thomas Snyder.

The crash happened on Route 15 and involved a single motor vehicle that went off the road to the right, striking a guardrail before rolling over, Snyder said.

The driver of the vehicle, who was identified as a 38-year-old female from of Sussex, was flown to an area hospital out of an abundance of caution for possible head injuries, Snyder said.
