
1 dead, 1 seriously injured after 2-vehicle crash in Morris County
UPDATE: Authorities ID driver killed in 2-vehicle crash in Morris County
ROXBURY TOWNSHIP, NJ (Morris County) – One driver was killed and another driver seriously injured in a two-vehicle crash in Roxbury Township Friday night, according to Morris County Prosecutor’s Office Public Information Officer Meghan Knab.
The crash involving a southbound 2019 Mazda 3 and a northbound 2021 Chevrolet Silverado occurred around 10:30 p.m. on Howard Boulevard, Knab said.
The male driver of the Mazda was pronounced dead at the scene, Knab said.
The male driver of the Silverado was extricated and transported to Morristown Medical Center with serious injuries, Knab said.
No further information was available, Knab said.
The Morris County Prosecutor’s Office, the Morris County Sheriff’s Office CSI, and Roxbury Township Police are investigating.
