UPDATE: Authorities ID driver killed in 2-vehicle crash in Morris County

ROXBURY TOWNSHIP, NJ (Morris County) – An 18-year-old was killed after a two-vehicle crash in Morris County on Friday night.

The crash happened at around 10:30 p.m. on Howard Boulevard in Roxbury Township.

According to Morris County Prosecutor’s Office Public Information Officer Meghan Knab, the crash involved a southbound 2019 Mazda 3, driven by Jacob Davis, 18, of Flanders, and a northbound 2021 Chevrolet Silverado

Davis was pronounced dead at the scene, Knab said.

The male driver of the Silverado was extricated and transported to Morristown Medical Center with serious injuries, Knab said.

No further information was available, Knab said.

The crash remains under investigation by the Morris County Prosecutor’s Office, the Morris County Sheriff’s Office CSI, and Roxbury Township Police Department.
